Mr Petter Voo graduated from Middlesix Polytechnic London, United Kingdom for CNNA degree in B. A. LAW (1978 to 1981), admitted into Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, United Kingdom on 17 March 1981 and completed the Bar Exams at the Council of Legal Education London and was called to the Degree of an Utter Barrister on the 27 November 1984. On 16 October 1985 he was admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
- For 2 years from 17 October 1985 until 29 February 1988, he practiced as a legal assistant in the law firm of Chua Brothers, Azzat & Xavier, Advocates & Solicitors, Johor Bahru, Johor.
- For 22 years from 1 March 1988 until 31 December 2010, he practiced as senior partner in Iqbal Hakim Sia & Voo, Johor Bahru, Johor.
- For 7 years from 1 January 2011 until 31 December 2017, he practiced as senior partner in KV Lim & VOO in Johor Bahru, Johor.
- From 1 January 2018 until 31 December 2019, he practiced as a consultant in KV Lim & VOO.
- From 1 January 2020, he joined as partner in Alvin’s Chang Chamber.
As such, he has been in active legal practice continuously for a total period of about 32 years up to now.
